What is an ESA letter?

The ESA letter is the written recommendation that is issued by a licensed mental health practitioner. 

The letter is what will determine the legal status of your Emotional Support Animal when renting a new home or flying on an airline. It will protect you under the federal laws Fair Housing Act and Air Carrier Access act. 

With this letter you are exempt from paying any sort of pet fees or renting from a no pet policy apartment. You can also fly on an airline free of charge for the pet* 

*Most airlines & landlords will require additional documentation. Please check with them before attempting to use the letter.
